Three Days Serengeti National Park & Ngorongoro crater

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, one of our friendly representatives will be waiting to greet you. They’ll assist you with your luggage and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

Once you’ve checked in to your hotel, take some time to relax and adjust to your new surroundings. Arusha is a vibrant city with a rich cultural heritage, so feel free to explore its bustling markets and local attractions if you’re up for it.

In the early evening, you’ll meet with your safari guide for a comprehensive briefing on the upcoming adventure. They’ll go over the itinerary, safety guidelines, and answer any questions you may have about the journey ahead.

As the day comes to a close, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, savoring the flavors of Tanzanian cuisine. Afterward, retire to your comfortable accommodations for a restful night’s sleep, preparing yourself for the excitement of the days to come

Rise and shine! After an early breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to begin your safari adventure. You’ll depart from Arusha in the morning, embarking on a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside towards the Serengeti National Park.

As you approach the park gate, anticipation builds for the wildlife encounters that await you. Once inside, your guide will lead you on your first game drive, navigating through the vast plains and open grasslands that characterize the Serengeti landscape.

Around midday, take a break from the excitement for a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the park. Enjoy the chance to stretch your legs and soak in the beauty of your surroundings, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

After lunch, resume your game drive, keeping a keen eye out for the park’s iconic inhabitants, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and wildebeest. Your guide will share their knowledge of the local wildlife and ecosystem, enhancing your safari experience.

As the sun begins to set, arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti. Here, you’ll have time to freshen up and relax before gathering for a delicious dinner under the stars, recounting the day’s adventures with your fellow travelers.

Wake up before dawn to catch the magical sight of the sunrise over the Serengeti plains. After a quick breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive, when predators are most active and the air is filled with the sounds of the awakening savannah.

Return to your accommodation for a more substantial breakfast, fueling up for the journey ahead. Bid farewell to the Serengeti as you depart for the next leg of your adventure: the Ngorongoro Crater.

As you approach the rim of the crater, marvel at the stunning vistas spread out before you. Descend into the caldera, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife and breathtaking scenery.

Pause for a picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Keep your camera ready for close encounters with elephants, hippos, and a myriad of bird species that call the crater home.

After lunch, continue your exploration of the crater, traversing its diverse habitats and encountering a wealth of wildlife at every turn. With luck, you may even spot the elusive black rhinoceros, one of the crater’s most sought-after inhabitants.
