Your driver guide with a 4x4 open roof safari vehicle will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 8:00 am and drive to Selous game Reserve passing through the countryside. Have your lunch at Selous upon your arrival and go for an afternoon boat safari along river Rufiji and get to see snorting hippos, crocodiles and elephants along the river. In the evening go to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan (lunch + dinner)

Have your breakfast at 7:00 AM

and at 8:00 AM with picnic lunch go for game drive in Selous named after Frederick Selous the famous British explorer. Selous is Africa’s biggest game reserve and get to see some fabulous game including elephant, wild dog, buffalo, giraffes, crocodile and fantastic prides of lion. Enjoy your lunch at 12:30 pm at a perfect spot chosen by your guide. After lunch continue with game drive until evening In the evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Have your breakfast at 7:00 AM, and at 8:00 AM, with picnic lunch, go for a full-day game drive and explore other parts of the reserve that covers an area of nearly 50,000 square kilometres or 19,000 square miles. At 4:00 PM, go for a village tour at Mloka village, where you shall visit the market, police post, shops and meet the local people going about their village life. Mloka village gives you the opportunity of experiencing a real African village life. In the evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan (breakfast + lunch + dinner)

At 6:30 am, go for an early morning walking safari in the wilderness accompanied by an armed park ranger until 9:30 am when you shall have your breakfast. After breakfast, with picnic lunch, drive back to Dar es Salaam for drop off. Meal plan (breakfast + lunch)
