Here is a possible itinerary for the 6-day Marangu Route:
Day 1: Hike from the Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut (2,740 meters/9,000 feet).

Day 3: Rest day at Horombo Hut.
Day 4: Hike from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut (4,700 meters/15,400 feet).
Day 5: Summit attempt from Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters/19,341 feet) and then descend to Horombo Hut.

On your arrival in Moshi, you will be met by your guide and porters and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will go for an acclimatization hike to the Marangu Gate. This is a short hike that will help you to get used to the altitude
You will hike from the Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut. This is a moderate hike that takes about 4-5 hours. The scenery along the way is beautiful, and you will have the opportunity to see a variety of plants and animals
You will hike from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut. This is a longer hike that takes about 6-8 hours. The terrain is more challenging on this day, and you will start to feel the effects of the altitude.
You will have a rest day at Horombo Hut. This is a good day to relax and acclimatize to the altitude. You can also go for a short hike to Mawenzi Tarn or Gillman's Point, which offer stunning views of the mountain.
You will hike from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut. This is a long hike that takes about 6-8 hours. The terrain is very steep on this day, and you will need to be in good physical condition.
You will attempt to summit Mount Kilimanjaro from Kibo Hut. This is a very challenging hike that takes about 5-7 hours. The summit is at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), and the weather conditions can be very harsh.
