The trek starts at Machame Gate through lush rainforest, and after a few hours, you will reach Machame Camp, where you'll spend the night.

The trail takes you out of the rainforest into the heather and moorland zone. The hike can be steep and challenging at times, and you'll spend the night at Shira Camp

The hike involves tackling the Barranco Wall, which offers stunning views. After descending to the Karanga Valley, you'll spend the night at Karanga Camp.

This day's trek is relatively short, taking you to Barafu Camp, the base camp for the summit attempt. You'll rest early to prepare for the summit push.

The summit attempt starts at midnight, reaching Stella Point and then Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Afterward, you descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
