After breakfast transfer to lake manyara national park, the park is popular for its tree climbing lions and diverse wild animal presence. the park is also a home to Sykes monkey, short eared galago, cape clawless, hundreds of baboons, giraffe, impala, wild dogs, and a lot others.

After a game viewing adventure, you will get to Manyara/karatu for some more adventure on the following day.

Leave manyara behind and drive for at least 4 hours to Serengeti national park. as you join the Ngorongoro conservation area route, the road runs along the highland, offering some beautiful views over the land. as you leave the scenic highlands behind you will get to the vast plains of Serengeti, you will have lunch at the naabi gate and thereafter proceed with afternoon game driving as you head to the central part of the park where you will spend the night.

In Serengeti keep your eyes open to spot all the classic Africa animals from the big cats, elephants, hippos, giraffe, impalas, gazelles, buffalo and many others.

Optional tour activities before reaching Serengeti

• Olduvai Gorge museum -one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, the exhibits from here are centered on the paleoanthropological research and artifacts that were found in the surrounding area. Founded by Mary Leakey the museum also has several charts and photographs describing and illustrating the process of the laetoli footprints.

• Maasai boma visit-visit the popular Maasai people and learn about their traditional Maasai dance, their daily way of life and even purchase some of their traditional items in the local market.

Lunch will be offered in one of the picnic sites in Serengeti, most likely naabi hill gate and after that you will have late game drive before retiring to your camp/lodge where you will have dinner and spend overnight.

Today you will have another full day in Serengeti, after having breakfast head out for a game drive towards the eastern Serengeti part. The part is popular for the migration movement from November to December as they head back to the southern parts of Serengeti, it is also a perfect place to spot cheetahs. Be ready to marvel at some dramatic interaction between the herbivores and predators who frequent the area to get a chance of a meal. After a long day of events, you will get back to your accommodation facility.

In the morning continue with game driving in the eastern part of Serengeti, you will make frequent stops to catch sight of wildlife. The eastern Serengeti is well known for its incredible game viewing, the migration presence draw an astonishing variety of animals and birds from all around, the adventure around these parts will go on till afternoon where lunch will be offered and you will get back to game driving as you head back towards central Serengeti.

This will be the last day in Serengeti national park so you will have to take its full beauty to the fullest, enjoy the incredible sightings of animals in your morning game drive after getting breakfast in the lodge /camp. Get the glimpse of all your Serengeti animals before heading out of the park after getting lunch. After getting out of the park you will head to the Ngorongoro crater rim where you will spend the night and enjoy the incredible crater view if the weather allows.

When it comes to game viewing Ngorongoro crater does not disappoint: it’s a home to more than 25,000 wild animals residing in what may be considered a mother nature’s garden. within the crater you might also get lucky and spot the black rhino on a one-day game driving. Look out for lions, leopards, hyenas, buffalo, and many others, also keep your eyes open for the flamingos, and other birds that reside in the crater. After spending the whole day here, you will ascend the crater in the late afternoon and head to Arusha.
