Day 1: Arrival in Arusha Tanzania

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, Tanzania, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide. They will assist you with the transfer to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can settle in and relax after your journey. Take this day to rest, unwind, and acclimate to the local environment. You may choose to explore the nearby town of Arusha or simply enjoy the amenities of your accommodation. Get a good night's sleep as you prepare for the incredible safari adventure that lies ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You'll pick you up from your hotel at 8: 30 am and take you to a very special national park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views of the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation at Mto wa Mbu.

Enjoy breakfast and then depart early in the morning with your lunch. Head off on a spectacular afternoon game viewing in Serengeti National Park where you will spend 3 nights exploring the Serengeti plains.

It occupies an area of around 15,000 sq km with over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area is filled with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season.
