Arusha is the safari capital of the country and a bustling ‘ tourism-driven’ city. You will be met by your driver-guide in Arusha or at Arusha airport and together you will begin the transfer to Tarangire National Park to start your private safari game drive. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River, which crosses the park and is the main source of freshwater for the wildlife. This quiet park is famous for its elephant migration, birdlife, and authentic safari atmosphere. On arrival, you will have time to refresh before finishing the day with dinner under the stars and a good night’s sleep in one of our comfy canvas accommodations.
This day is set aside for game driving in Serengeti. The park is the home for an abundance of wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but is best known for its great migrating groups of zebras and wildebeest. The wildebeest & Zebras migrate in November and December from the north part, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. Mostly in a rainy season from April to June, they return to the north.
Soon after breakfast, you'll experience the last game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. During the afternoon, we will proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight on the crater rim.
