Day 1: From Arusha to Arusha National Park

01

On our first day of exploration, we bid farewell to Arusha and embarked on a short but captivating journey to Arusha National Park. The transition from urban life to the park's serene wilderness was swift, setting the stage for an exhilarating day of wildlife encounters amidst lush forests, pristine lakes, and the iconic backdrop of Mount Meru, a perfect introduction to the natural wonders of Tanzania. Here you will see waterbucks, giraffe, warthogs, Gazelle and zebras.

Acommodation: Lodges or Tented Camp

Day 2: From Arusha to Tarangire National park

02

After having breakfast, you will continue your drive to Tarangire National Park, which is one of the largest parks in Tanzania and is located in the Manyara region. It is characterized by the large herds of elephants and tree-climbing lions that call it home, as well as the fascinating baobab trees that are renowned for their mythical powers in some of the local cultures. The Tarangire River flows through the park year-round and is the only source of water for the animals during the dry season.

Acommodation: Lodges or Tented Campsite

Day 3: From Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

03

After breakfast, you will continue your journey to Serengeti National Park, which is world-famous and for good reason. Not only is the migration of over 1 million wildebeest and other plains game through its plains and woodlands the most spectacular wildlife event on earth, but it abounds with other wildlife superlatives. The Serengeti is home to the world’s largest populations of wildebeest, zebra, Cape eland, lion, cheetah, hyena, gazelle, and no doubt much more. And on top of this, it is scenically beautiful and has a wonderful sunny climate with cool nights and warm days.

Acommodation: Lodges or Tented Campsite

Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

04

On day four of our adventure, we reluctantly left the boundless plains of Serengeti National Park behind and embarked on a thrilling journey to Ngorongoro National Park. As the landscapes transitioned from open savannah to the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, anticipation filled the air for the day's exploration within the Ngorongoro Crater, where the concentrated wildlife and dramatic scenery promised unforgettable encounters in this unique volcanic caldera.

Acommodation: Lodges or Budgeted Campsite

Day 5: Ngorongoro National Park to Lake Manyara National Park

05

On this day, our journey led us away from the mesmerizing Ngorongoro Crater, and we set our sights on the enchanting Lake Manyara. As we descended from the highlands into the Great Rift Valley, the diverse landscapes unfolded before us, culminating in our arrival at Lake Manyara National Park, where you will see more variation in the distance traveled than anywhere else in Africa. There are copious groundwater springs at one end, spilling out from the base of the Rift Valley wall. These give rise to a truly jungle-type ground-water forest, which is in stark contrast to the drybush acacia woodlands all around and to the enormous shallow alkaline lake that lies on the valley floor. Then there is also the steep escarpment wall with its own boulder-strewn habitat. Here you can watch old bull buffaloes wallowing in the warm alkaline mud, and on occasion, vast flocks of flamingos in enormous baobabs are scattered throughout the drier parts.

Acommodation: Lodges or budgeted Campsite

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

06

On the grand finale of our remarkable expedition, we reluctantly departed the enchanting shores of Lake Manyara, where the tranquil waters mirrored the splendor of the African sky. Our journey back to Arusha was a nostalgic voyage through the very heart of Tanzania's untamed beauty, a path that reverberated with the echoes of our adventures, the vibrant hues of its wildlife, and the enduring symphony of nature, weaving an unforgettable conclusion to our safari and leaving us with hearts brimming with gratitude for the unbridled wonders we had witnessed.

Acommodation: Arusha
