Start the trek at the Lemosho Gate and walk through the lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp.

Time: 5–6 hours
Ascend through the rainforest and then into the heather and moorland zone, arriving at Shira 1 Camp.

Continue hiking through the rocky terrain and heather zones, and camp at Shira 2 Camp.

Time: 6-7 hours
Hike to Lava Tower for acclimatisation and then descend to Barranco Camp in the Great Barranco Wall area.

Time: 4-5 hours
Cross the Barranco Wall and hike through the Karanga Valley to Karanga Camp for additional acclimatisation.

Time: 3–4 hours
Ascend to Barafu Camp, the last camp before the summit attempt. Rest and prepare for the summit night.

Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificates and say goodbye to your climbing team.
