On the first day, you’ll depart from Arusha in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll enter the park and embark on a thrilling safari adventure. Explore diverse ecosystems, including forests and savannahs, while keeping an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as elephants and giraffes. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area surrounded by nature before continuing your exploration in the afternoon, where you can observe various bird species, including flamingos and pelicans. After a day full of wildlife viewing, you’ll drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at a comfortable lodge.

The second day begins early as you depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the breathtaking views along the way before arriving at the crater and descending into this UNESCO World Heritage site. Spend the morning exploring the caldera, which is home to a rich array of wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, and numerous bird species as you navigate the crater’s unique ecosystems. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater, allowing you to soak in the stunning surroundings. After lunch, continue your safari, discovering more of the diverse wildlife before ascending out of the crater and returning to Arusha, concluding your memorable two-day safari adventure.
