You’ll be picked up from your accommodation around 8:00 AM, and the drive to Central Serengeti takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of about 300 kilometers. Expect a scenic journey through the Tanzanian countryside, with the chance to spot wildlife along the way. Upon arrival in the Central Serengeti, you’ll check into your accommodation at Tukaone Camps, a cozy and well-reviewed option for your stay. After a brief rest and lunch, which typically includes a selection of local and international dishes, you’ll start your first game drive in the Serengeti. By mid-morning, you’ll start your journey towards Ngorongoro Crater. The drive takes about 4 to 5 hours, covering approximately 150 kilometers.
