Meet and get informed by our safari guide, who will be with you for the three days of the safari, when you arrive at Entebbe international airport or Kampala capital city. Before beginning the trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwestern portion of Uganda, start the fun with a cup of tea or a glass of juice.
The journey takes about 9-11 hours and includes a lunch stop, stunning scenery, bustling towns and flourishing plantations. In the evening, as you drive to the lodge for some rest, dinner and a nap, green vegetation and beautiful landscape will be delighted to see you.
A day of gorilla trekking begins with a satisfying cup of African coffee and lively traditional performances from the local women; it’s a day of making history, writing a tale and having remarkable encounters. Because gorillas are more active in the morning, you will be transported to the park headquarters for a pre-tour briefing, the start of this ultimate hunt. Begin a search in the jungle for your cousins for about 2-8 hours, depending on your speed and how far the apes have moved.
You'll first see if they're still in the area where they were last seen, or if they've moved on to new territory. Gorillas feed on leaves, stems, and fruits in groups known as troops, which are led by a silverback. Upon finding them, you'll be rewarded with an hour of seeing the silverback, the mothers nursing their babies and the playful juveniles.
Say goodbye to your cousins once the one-hour has passed, go for lunch, some rest and a visit to the Batwa pygmies, one of the world's forest people, whose ancestors lived as wanderers and gatherers. Visitors are entertained by woodland stories, singing and dancing. You'll end today's chapter with a delicious dinner and a restful night's sleep
After a yummy cup of coffee at sunrise, check out of the lodge for departure drive to Entebbe international airport or Kampala city. Have a stopover at the equator for photos and lunch meal. The equator crosses only thirteen countries in the world and divides the world into the two spheres - the northern and southern hemispheres.
