Our driver will pick you up from Arusha Airport and take you to Tarangire for a game drive in the park.
Tarangire is known for its dramatic landscapes featuring enormous baobab trees, and it’s one of the best places to see elephants in large numbers. During your drive, you might also spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and diverse bird species, particularly during the dry season, when animals are drawn to the Tarangire River.
The park offers stunning views with wide-open grasslands, woodlands, and the river, where animals congregate. You may also witness the interaction between large herds of elephants and the dense forests. Tarangire is quieter than some of the more famous parks, providing an exclusive safari experience.
After the game drive, you'll head to your lodge, where you can unwind and enjoy a traditional Tanzanian dinner.

Your afternoon will be spent exploring the crater floor, which is teeming with wildlife. The crater is one of the best places in the world to see the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), and it’s also home to hippos, flamingos, and hyenas.
