In the early morning at 0600hrs, drive from Kampala with lunch en-route in Mbarara and proceed to either Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park or to Mgahinga Gorilla N.P. You will arrive to the gorilla reserve in time for dinner and overnight at:

After an early breakfast, depart to the park headquarters and proceed for briefing from park ranger guides at 7.30 before starting your Gorilla trek at 8.00am through steeply forested and beautiful landscape along several animal trails. The climax of the adventure is the opportunity to view the gentle and endangered mountain Gorillas which is an exciting and memorable experience, later return to your lodge for lunch. This may take 3 to 8 hours depending on how soon you get to them. Later return for lunch and Dinner and overnight at your lodge:

After breakfast, transfer for a village walk and community tours depending on which lodge used. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor.
