Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by a professional guide from Gilead Summit Holidays, who will provide a detailed briefing on your 5-Day Best of Uganda Flying Safari and escort you to Protea Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport for a flight to Mweya Airstrip, where our guide will be ready to welcome you. From there, you will be driven to Mweya Safari Lodge for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, offering views of elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes, as well as large gatherings of hippos and crocodiles on the channel’s shores. After this delightful experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive toward the Ishasha sector. The drive through the Kasenyi plains, a key game viewing area within Queen Elizabeth National Park, offers the chance to observe diverse wildlife, including buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and elephants. After exploring the park, proceed to Ishasha Jungle Lodge for lunch and refreshments. Continue with another game drive in Ishasha, aiming to spot the famous tree-climbing lions. The adventure concludes with a drive to Bwindi, where you will check in at Buhoma Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Your day begins with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Guided by an expert, you will trek through the jungle in search of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, offering a rare chance for a close-up encounter with the mountain gorillas. After the trek, which lasts between 2 to 5 hours, you will return to your lodge for lunch and some leisure time. In the late afternoon, you’ll be taken to visit a Batwa village, where the Batwa people still live in traditional tree and grass huts. During the visit, you will witness how they craft tools, start fires with sticks and stones, and learn about their customs and beliefs. After the tour, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.
