Arrive in Moshi, Tanzania, and transfer to your hotel for rest and acclimatisation. Meet your climbing team and guides for a thorough briefing and equipment check to ensure you are well-prepared for the trek.

After breakfast, drive to the Umbwe Gate (1,800m) to complete the necessary registration and meet your porters. The trek begins through the dense rainforest, with the trail quickly becoming steep and challenging. You'll gain altitude rapidly as you ascend through the lush forest. Arrive at Umbwe Cave Camp for the night.

Continue the ascent, leaving the rainforest behind and entering the heath and moorland zones. The trail becomes rockier as you climb higher, offering panoramic views of the plains below. You'll have the opportunity to see stunning sunsets and sunrises from this vantage point. Arrive at Barranco Camp, situated in a picturesque valley, for the night.

Trek through the iconic Barranco Wall, a thrilling section that involves some scrambling. After conquering the wall, continue along a scenic ridge, passing several stunning viewpoints. Arrive at Karanga Camp for the night, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Hike through the barren alpine desert, with the landscape becoming more lunar-like. The air gets thinner as you approach Barafu Camp, the final base camp before the summit attempt. Rest and prepare for the summit bid as the climb becomes more challenging.

Start the summit attempt around midnight, ascending steep scree and rocks under the moonlight. Reach Stella Point (5,730m) at sunrise, offering an excellent vantage point. Continue along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views and a profound sense of achievement. Descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing down to Mweka Camp for the night.

Descend through the lush rainforest, celebrating your successful climb with your fellow trekkers. Arrive at Mweka Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificate. Transfer back to Moshi for a warm shower, celebration, and a well-deserved rest.
