7 Days Climb Kilimanjaro Rongai Route

7 Days Climb Kilimanjaro Rongai Route

Easier to trek, enough time for acclimatization and less people, this is the Rongai Route! Experience the true wilderness areas of the Kilimanjaro and create your ultimate

Tanzania memories. It is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, close to the Kenyan border. Though gaining popularity among climbers, Rongai has low traffic. It is the preferred route for those looking for an alternative to the crowded Marangu Route, for those who would like a more remote hike, and for those who are climbing during the rainy season (the north side receives less precipitation). First through farmland and then a hike in the pine forests of Kilimanjaro, this is how we will begin our trekking. Continuing with a walk through moorland and passing the eastern ice fields on the Crater Rim of Kibo, the highest of the three volcanoes which form this grand mountain, from where we can cherish marvellous views. The Mawenzi, second highest of the Kilimanjaro volcanoes is waiting for us as well.

5/5

From our 1st email everything went totally smoothly with Enjoy Kili. We arranged a 4 park safari and it was perfect in every way.

We were met at the airport by David from the office and he explained every thing to us with a big smile.
