The Lemosho Route is one of the more scenic and less crowded routes to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It is considered a longer route, taking 7 days to complete, allowing for better acclimatization and increasing the chances of reaching the summit successfully. The route starts on the western side of the mountain and offers breathtaking views as it traverses various climate zones and diverse landscapes. The Lemosho Route joins the Machame Route on the third day and follows the same path to the summit.
