Altitude: From 2,385 meters (7,825 feet) to 2,795 meters (9,170 feet)
Trek: 4-5 hours through the rainforest.
Altitude: From 2,795 meters (9,170 feet) to 3,505 meters (11,500 feet)
Trek: 5–6 hours through the moorland
Altitude: From 3,505 meters (11,500 feet) to 3,900 meters (12,800 feet)
Trek: 4-6 hours through the rocky terrain.
Altitude: From 3,900 meters (12,800 feet) to 3,960 meters (13,000 feet) (with an ascent to a higher point during the day)
Trek: 6-7 hours. This day involves gaining and losing altitude for better acclimatization.
Altitude: From 3,960 meters (13,000 feet) to 4,035 meters (13,200 feet)
Trek: 4-5 hours. A short day to allow for rest and acclimatization.
Altitude: From 4,035 meters (13,200 feet) to 4,673 meters (15,331 feet)
Trek: 4-5 hours. Another shorter day to conserve energy before the summit push
Altitude: From 4,673 meters (15,331 feet) to 5,895 meters (19,341 feet) (Uhuru Peak) and descending to 3,100 meters (10,170 feet) (Mweka Camp)
Trek: 12–16 hours to the summit and back to Mweka Camp.
Altitude: From 3,100 meters (10,170 feet) to 1,650 meters (5,413 feet)
Trek: 3–4 hours. Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your summit certificates.
