After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from Moshi and driven to the Londrossi gate. At the gate, the porters will organize and pack the belongings for the hike while you and your waiting lounge register with Tanzania National Park. You will then begin your ascent into the rainforest. Be on the lookout for wildlife, including Colobus monkeys! About halfway up the trail, you will have a lunch break, and you will reach the Forest Camp in the early evening. The porters and chefs who move very fast up the mountain will reach camp before you and set up your tents, boil drinking water, and prepare snacks for your arrival.

On this day, the trek continues as you leave the enchanting rainforest behind at Big Tree Camp, entering the moorland zone, where the landscape transforms into a striking expanse of giant heather and alpine plants. The day's journey concludes at Shira 1 Camp, nestled on the expansive Shira Plateau, offering stunning vistas of Kilimanjaro's western face and creating an exhilarating blend of challenging ascent and breathtaking scenery.

After breakfast, you will continue climbing across the mesmerizing Shira Plateau, with its high-altitude desert terrain adorned with unique alpine flora and stunning rock formations. As you make your way to Shira 2 Camp, perched amidst this otherworldly landscape, you'll be treated to panoramic views of Kilimanjaro's rugged beauty, cementing the sense of adventure and anticipation for the days ahead.

You go slowly today as you reach the edge of the heather and moorland and then enter the Alpine desert in the direction of the northern Kilimanjaro region. You can take an optional detour through the lava tower camp, which is excellent for acclimatization.

On day 5 of the Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route, you will leave Moir Hut and ascend to the iconic Lava Tower, which offers a challenging climb and a valuable acclimatization experience, all while providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Following your descent from Lava Tower, the trail leads to Barranco Camp, nestled in a picturesque valley beneath the towering Barranco Wall, where you will rest and prepare for the thrilling ascent of the Barranco Wall the following day.

You will leave Barranco behind and continue your ascent to Karanga Camp. The trail presents a mix of challenges and rewards, including the famous Barranco Wall. As you reach Karanga camp, located at 13,100 feet, the higher altitude becomes palpable, setting the stage for the approaching summit attempt.

On day 7 of the Kilimanjaro climb via this Lemosho Route, the climb continues as you leave Karanga Camp, ascending through challenging high-altitude desert terrain marked by rocky paths and expansive vistas. Your day culminates at Barafu Camp, where you will rest and prepare for the ultimate summit attempt, feeling the increasing altitude as you approach Kilimanjaro's peak, making it a crucial day in your journey to the summit.

On day 8, you will make the challenging pre-dawn ascent from Barafu Camp to the summit of Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak, where a breathtaking sunrise crowns your achievement. Following the summit, you will descend to Mweka Camp, marking the culmination of your unforgettable Kilimanjaro journey.

This is the last day for your Kilimanjaro Climbing Via Lemosho route, where your descent from Mweka Camp through the lush rainforest culminates at Mweka Gate, where you receive summit certificates. From there, you'll head back to Moshi, concluding your memorable Kilimanjaro adventure.
