Arrive in Moshi, Tanzania, and transfer to your hotel for rest and acclimatisation. Meet your climbing team and guides for a briefing and gear check. Overnight in Moshi
After breakfast, drive to the Lemosho Gate (1,980 m), where you'll complete registration and meet the porters. Begin the trek through lush rainforest, keeping an eye out for wildlife like monkeys and colourful bird species. Arrive at Big Tree Camp for the night.
Continue your ascent through the rainforest, and as the landscape changes, you'll enter the moorland zone. Enjoy panoramic views of the Shira Plateau as you hike to Shira 1 Camp for the night.
