Arrive in Moshi, Tanzania, and transfer to your hotel for rest and acclimatisation. Meet your climbing team and guides for a briefing and gear check. Overnight in Moshi
After breakfast, drive to the Lemosho Gate (1,980 m), where you'll complete registration and meet the porters. Begin the trek through lush rainforest, keeping an eye out for wildlife like monkeys and colourful bird species. Arrive at Big Tree Camp for the night.
Continue your ascent through the rainforest, and as the landscape changes, you'll enter the moorland zone. Enjoy panoramic views of the Shira Plateau as you hike to Shira 1 Camp for the night.
Hike across the Shira Plateau, an otherworldly landscape with expansive views of the mountain. Arrive at Shira 2 Camp for the night.
Trek through the alpine desert, gaining altitude as you approach the Barranco Valley. Ascend the Barranco Wall, a thrilling and challenging section of the route offering incredible views. Descend to Barranco Camp for the night.
Today's trek takes you through the Karanga Valley, a relatively short and steep climb. Arrive at Karanga Camp for the night and enjoy the surrounding scenic beauty.
Hike through barren alpine desert, gradually ascending to Barafu Camp, the final base camp before the summit attempt. Rest and prepare for the summit bid.
Start the summit attempt around midnight, making your way up steep scree and rocks. Reach Stella Point (5,730m) at sunrise, an excellent vantage point. Continue to the summit, Uhuru Peak, for an unforgettable moment. Descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing down to Mweka Camp for the night.
