Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will be greeted by your Mropean Safaris representative and transferred to your accommodation in Moshi. Unwind after your journey, explore the town’s bustling markets, or enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant as you acclimate to the serene ambiance of northern Tanzania.

Note: Starting your safari in Moshi offers several advantages over the common belief that beginning in Arusha is better. First, staying in Moshi provides the impressive view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. Plus, you can embark on a day trip to the first camp via the Marangu Route. Moshi also offers excellent day trip opportunities, including visits to Materuni Waterfall, the tallest in northern Tanzania, the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, and a top-rated coffee tour showcasing Kilimanjaro coffee, renowned for its quality due to the volcanic soil. Day 2: Moshi to Lake Natron
