Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, Tanzania, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide. They will assist you with the transfer to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can settle in and relax after your journey. Take this day to rest, unwind, and acclimate to the local environment. You may choose to explore the nearby town of Arusha or simply enjoy the amenities of your accommodation. Get a good night's sleep as you prepare for the incredible safari adventure that lies ahead.

You'll pick you up from your hotel at 8: 30 am and take you to a very special national park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views of the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation at Mto wa Mbu.

Enjoy breakfast and then depart early in the morning with your lunch. Head off on a spectacular afternoon game viewing in Serengeti National Park where you will spend 3 nights exploring the Serengeti plains.

It occupies an area of around 15,000 sq km with over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area is filled with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the Northern Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile, and the rare oribi antelope.

After breakfast, you proceed with a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. With the help of your guide, you will explore the Serengeti plains searching for Africa’s Big Five animals. At around 12h30, you will have lunch and proceed with the afternoon game drive in the park.

Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

After breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30 000 large mammals are resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos), and a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). So be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

On day 9, depart from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and journey to the mesmerizing Lake Natron. This extraordinary destination boasts striking landscapes, including the awe-inspiring Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, which dominates the skyline. Explore the area on foot, taking in the vibrant hues of the soda lake and its resident flamingos. Take a dip in the natural hot springs or hike to the stunning Engare Sero Waterfalls, marveling at the cascading waters amidst the rugged terrain. Lake Natron offers a unique opportunity to witness the raw power and beauty of nature. Overnight accommodations will be in a camp or lodge near Lake Natron, where you can relax and relish the tranquility of this remarkable environment.
