Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, and proceed to the Immigration desk for VISA Stamp. Before leaving the desk make sure your passport is correctly stamped. Outside the airport, you will meet with your safari guide with a signboard with one of your names. Depart the airport and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
We hope you had a quiet and nice sleep, it is your first morning in Africa, are you excited? On your way to the dining area, the staff will say Jambo to you, just repeat the word Jambo means how are you. Have your breakfast then meet your safari guide outside the lodge. Your Safari guide will make sure your packed lunch is in the car, having a packed lunch will give you an opportunity to spend more time for a game drive. Depart the hotel to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2 hrs drive. Upon arrival at Tarangire, your safari guide will go to the Tanzania National Park office for registration, you can use this time to explore the area which has a lot of information displayed.
Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants as compared to anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and distinctive location to visit. In the evening drive to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
