You will arrive in Ruaha by air from Dar es Salaam and be picked up by a team of guides, who will drive you to the park in luxury and safety. You will see the park in a custom, open roof vehicles such as a 4-wheel drive Land Cruiser. You can also take walking safaris along the great Ruaha River. The addition of the Usangu Game Reserve and other important wetlands to the park in 2008 increased its size to about 20,226 km², making it the largest protected area in Tanzania and East Africa.

On this day You will be picked up from the airport or hotel very early after breakfast and then depart for Ruaha National Park for a full day game drive.
