Start at Londorossi Gate (2,250 meters).
Hike through a lush rainforest.
Camp at Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820 meters)
Distance: approx. 7 km
Duration: 3–4 hours
Ascend through the rainforest.
Reach the heather zone.
Camp at Shira 1 Camp (3,500 meters)
Distance: approx. 8 km
Duration: 5–6 hours
Trek through the high moorland zone.
Pass the Shira Cathedral.
Camp at Moir Hut (4,200 meters)
Distance: approx. 14 km
Duration: 7-9 hours
Cross the lava ridges of the Lava Tower.
Descend into the Barranco Valley.

Ascend the Barranco Wall
