Pick up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to the Lemosho Gate. Complete park registration and meet your guides and porters. Begin the trek through the rainforest, reaching Mti Mkubwa Camp for your first overnight stay.
Continue through the rainforest and gradually ascend into the heath and moorland zones. Enjoy the changing scenery as you make your way to Shira 1 Camp, situated on a plateau, for your second night on the mountain.
Trek across the beautiful Shira Plateau, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Traverse the lunar-like terrain to reach Moir Hut, where you will spend the night.
Descend from Moir Hut and trek through rocky terrain and ridges. Enjoy magnificent views of the Western Breach and the Great Barranco Wall as you make your way to Barranco Camp. Spend the night here.
Embark on the challenging Barranco Wall climb, a highlight of the route, which involves some scrambling. Journey through the alpine desert zone to Karanga Camp, where you will spend the night.
Ascend from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp, located at the base of the summit. Take the opportunity to rest and prepare yourself for the final push to the summit, which will start during the night.
Begin your ascent to the summit, reaching Uhuru Peak in time to witness the sunrise and enjoy panoramic views. Descend back to Barafu Camp for a brief rest, then continue to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain.
