This one day tour takes you to L. Mburo for wildlife viewing, bird watching, boat ride and guided nature walk. The Park contains an area of wetland and harbours several species of mammals including zebras, impalas, elands, topi and buffaloes. The bird population is also impressive including the rare Shoebill stork. L. Mburo is the only place in Uganda where Impala can be found and the best place to see large herds of Elands. It is also the only park where a guided game walk is possible.

You will set off from Kampala at 6:30am and head to the western part of Uganda to L. Mburo. The drive takes 3-4 hours with a stopover at the Equator for an opportunity to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time. You will continue through the Savannah grasslands dotted with settlements.
Game drive and Boat launch on Lake Mburo
Immediately you get to Mburo you will for a game drive in search of plain game like zebra, hippos, crocodiles, eland, antelope, impala and a variety of birds. You will have a lunch break after which you will go for a 2 hour boat launch on L. Mburo which is endowed with a variety of water animals such as hippos and crocodiles and several bird species.
You will after the boat ride travel back to Kampala.

I and my husband did a 4 days safari with this company , it was a mid range safari to our greatest surprise everything was planned according to our Budget even more. Our drive from Kampala through lake mburo national park to lake bunyonyi where we had our first night , it was so fun , lovely and enjoyable I felt so much at home then the next day we had gorilla trekking experience it was so beyond happiness ,much excitement watching those beautiful animals it was nice and we ended with a drive to queen Elizabeth national park we managed to see climbing lions and many more animals it was so interesting . Our guide Peter was good at driving ,so knowledgeable , friendly and helpful we really had so much with him and the hotels were all on point , smart , good staff and healthy meals with perfect views to nature I can't wait to do my next family safari with them again .
