A three day road trip to Mikumi National Park will give you more time to explore the park in a more relaxed venture. The Park is about 2-3 hour drive from Dar es Salaam city depending on the city traffic and your pick up point. Mikumi National park is the best park for wildlife experience though not very famous. It’s unique surrounded by mountains and hills that gives a fabulous scenery. The park host the big African game only missing the Rhino and a chance of seeing a tree climbing lion is higher than its home Lake Manyara National Park.

Our professional driver guide will pick you up from a hotel or airport in the morning at 08:00am and drive to Mikumi national park. On arrival check in to our partner tented Camp.
12:30: Hot lunch at the camp or lodge
Afternoon relax by the pool at the camp, optional guided village tour by a guide from the camp
Evening back to the camp for dinner and overnight,
Early breakfast at the camp, After breakfast depart for a full day game drive in Mikumi national park with picnic lunch, today you will explore the North west of the park that has a characteristic similar to that of Serengeti National park with herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, hyenas, lions, antelopes, great kudus and many more. You will spend your morning and afternoon in search for these animals and different bird species with a picnic lunch in a designated area.
Evening drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast at the camp. Depart for another morning game drive in the park in search for wild animals and birds could not see on the previous day like impalas, eland and kudu. The birds are commonly spotted in swampy areas that are all over the park.
Afternoon return to the camp for hot lunch then check out and drive back to Dar es salaam .
