Nyerere National Park is spread over 30,893 square kilometers of land area, making it the largest national park in Africa. The park is located in southeastern Tanzania and was carved out of the Selous Game Reserve. The total measured approximately 54,600 square kilometers, which at the time made it the 11th largest national park in the world.

Depart Dar es Salaam in the morning after breakfast, and drive to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Parl) a 5-hour drive. On the way, you will get a chance to see impalas, elephants, warthogs, baboons, and many more. Arrive in the afternoon time to relax till late in the afternoon at around 4:30 pm for a boat safari until sunset. You will have a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery with different species of birds and animals like hippos, crocodiles and others on the riverbank. Later on, get back for dinner and your overnight stay.
Early in the morning after breakfast, exit your lodge and drive to the park searching for wildlife on a full-day game drive. You will enjoy looking at elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, impalas, elands, jackals and many more. Have a lunch break and later proceed with a game drive to other parts of the park to enjoy more sighting in the park. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Get up in the morning for a walking safari with a Bushman and experience many things that you didn’t see on safari by vehicle like insects and a nest of birds. Later, get back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, take a shower and collect your belongings on your way back to Dar es Salaam. You'll be dropped off at the hotel or airport.
