After an early morning breakfast in your hotel, our driver-guide will meet you and drive you southwest words via Masaka and Mbarara towns to start on our Queen Elizabeth & Kibale safari. A stopover at the Equator a famous spot for photography and for an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres. Continue to Mbarara town where you will enjoy an en-route lunch and then proceed to the park traversing the Acacia woodland, long-horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country, and Ishaka tea plantations. You will get at Queen Elizabeth in the evening.

With an early breakfast, enjoy the sunrise on your morning game drive along the Kasenyi track, Queen’s miles and expect to see Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Kobs, Waterbuck, among others and if you are lucky, the shy leopard and spotted hyena. Return to the lodge for Lunch and rest for a few minutes, in the afternoon, you will go for a two-hour spectacular boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake George and Edward to view the amazing birdlife and a variety of animals like giant hippos, Elephants, crocodiles among others. Evening sightseeing around the volcanic crater area and baboon fences are an amazing way to spend your evening before returning to the lodge.

This day you will wake up very early for a morning game drive in the park during which you will see a variety of animal’s much of which you should have missed in the first game drive. On the drive to Kibale National Park, you will be able to enjoy an impressive sight of the legendary “Mountains of the Moon” which you will clearly see on the road.

After breakfast, you will head to Kibale Forest to view the primates in their natural setting. The tracking starts at 08:00Am with a briefing from the park head of the rules for tracking the chimpanzee after which you set off to search for them deep in the forest. The exercise takes as little as an hour to as much as eight hours. Along the way, you will see other primates such as Phoestes, Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Red-colobus and Blue tailed and Red-tailed monkeys swinging in the tree branches. The park rangers will be giving you information you need to know about these primates you will be coming across and on the plants to ensure the excise is not only enjoyable but also educative.
