Today your safari adventure begins! I'll pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. Your guide will take you to Arusha National Park, a park with beautiful scenery and a large population of animals. The park is divided into three parts: Mount Meru, Ngurdoto Crater, and Momella Lakes. After a game drive, you will do a guided walking safari. On foot, you can enjoy giraffes, buffalos, and other animals from a good distance. At the end of the day, you will back to Arusha to your accommodation for overnight stay.
It’s time to head to Tarangire! During the 2.5-hour drive, you will enjoy the view of the beautiful nature, landscapes, and local communities. We’ll do a full-day game drive in Tarangire which is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, we'll go to Africa Safari Lake Manyara where you'll spend the night in a Camp tented with a private bathroom.
It’s time to be active today. You will start early in the morning with a hike on the Great Rift Valley wall. We'll start in the village of Mto wa Mbu as we walk through the banana plantations to the Rift Valley wall. Make sure you wear good hiking shoes, as the walk will be a bit steep and rocky. Once you are on top, you will enjoy the amazing panoramic view of Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu. You’ll be surprised by all the green colors! After a few minutes of rest, we will walk down to the place where the bikes are waiting for us. The bike tour will take you through the village and you’ll have lunch at a local family. It's a true Tanzanian experience. In the afternoon, you will go back to Lake Manyara.
Where the plains of northern Tanzania meet the Rift Valley Escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park is a beautiful place to spend a safari day. Your highlights for the day include getting up close and personal with the elephants that made this park famous, many baboons, and one of the few lion populations in Africa that spend much of their time in the trees. Between the forests at the foot of the escarpment and the lake that gives the park its name, enjoy rich birdlife and the chance to see predators ambush their prey.
At the end of our day, you will head to our next lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. You can relax on the terrace or dip in the pool, savoring the beauty and tranquility of the African wilderness.
Today you wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive towards the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life is estimated at 30,000 large mammals. Due to its
natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African black rhino as well as hyena, zebra, and elephants to name a few. At the end of the day, we head to Ndutu/South Serengeti where we overnight at Serengeti. The area is famous for the calving season of the Great Migration, an absolute highlight of the annual wildebeest migration.
On day five, you will head towards the Serengeti. After a few hours' drive, you will arrive at the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you'll do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and
forest landscapes. The park is famous for its migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers.
At the end of the day, you'll arrive at Serengeti where you'll sleep in a furnished comfort safari tent. Located between Serengeti Seronera, Grumeti, and Ikorongo Game Reserves the location is perfect for exploring the Serengeti. It’s the perfect retreat for a relaxing moment watching birdlife or rather just relaxing while listening to the sounds of the African bush.
On this day, you'll continue our game drive in Serengeti and we will be heading north. In the migration season, we can pass by the Mara River. Be amazed by the thousands of animals crossing the river. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! At the end of the day, we will have our overnight stay at the campsite. As the accommodation’s name suggests, it is inspired by a traditional Maasai boma. Look around you and you’ll understand why; you’re in their midst. The village is called Ololosokwan and although not located in an official game reserve or national park, even here you can find games.
After breakfast, we will head to Lake Natron. The drives from the northern Serengeti are remote, with a desolate, other-worldly beauty and an incomparable feeling of space and antiquity. The roads pass through untraveled Maasai land, with small bomas and big mountains often in view in a wild, cauterized landscape.
From June to November, around two million flamingos gather around Lake Natron.
On the way to the lodge, we can make a stop at the hot springs. You will have our overnight stay at the campsite Lake Natron. The accommodation has a swimming pool that is embedded in its surrounding landscapes and comes complete with stunning views of neighboring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still-active volcano. Enjoy the view you can take a 10-minute walk to the lake with your guide.
In the morning, your guide will take you for an adventurous walk to the waterfalls (make sure to bring walking shoes). Several Maasai villages are found nearby and your guide for the hike will be a Maasai. After lunch, you’ll head to Mto wa Mbu where you'll have an overnight stay at campsites at Lake Manyara National Park.
Today you will go to Lake Manyara. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water, and hot springs. We will do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha where you'll arrive before dinner.
