Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our driver guide for introduction and transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

This morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked by the guide and take a gentle drive to Bwindi Gorilla Park. You will have a stopover at the equator and lunch enroute and proceed your drive south west of the country through several landscapes and amazing sceneries.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking – Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will drive to the briefing area for gorilla trekking guidelines. Then you will be assigned groups according to the Gorilla family led by park guides and rangers. The duration for your search is unpredictable as it is determined by the movements of the gorillas; however, on finding the gentle giants you will spend an hour with them; taking photographs, videos and observing their amazing way of life. Later in the afternoon, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, check in to your hotel with a relaxed evening.

Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe

After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, you will check out then drive back to Kampala. Stopover at the equator for the water experiment at Kayabwe. Then proceed to Entebbe for a shopping spree at the African craft market.

Day 5: Entebbe - Departure

After breakfast at the guesthouse, you will be dropped off at the airport in time to catch your flight back home.

Bwindi National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized as “an isolated forest of outstanding biological richness”, and together with its mountain gorilla population, is Uganda’s most valuable national asset. Blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and biologically diverse rainforests, and framed by banana and tea plantations, Bwindi is nestled on the ridge of the western rift valley and shares a border with DRC border to the west of the park.
