07h00 Pick up from your Hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for a flight to Nyerere National Park depart at 09h00

10h00 Arrive at the Park meet our driver and transfer to the camp for Lunch, In the afternoon embark on a boat safari, During a boat safari, there is a great chance of spotting hippos, crocodiles, and plenty of different bird species such as the African Fish Eagle, Malachite Kingfisher, Goliath Heron, African Skimmer and Boehm's Bee-Eater. Monkeys (Blue Monkey, Savannah Baboon, and Black and White Colobus Monkey) are often spotted in the trees along the banks of the river as well as Nile Monitor Lizards. Late evening transfer back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast Leave the Tented Camp this morning with a packed lunch in hand ready for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park which takes a day. Now the largest National Park in Africa, Nyerere National Park, is one of the most beautiful and game-rich areas in the ecosystem of Selous Game Reserve, spanning the Rufiji River basin in southeastern Tanzania. The Rufiji River is Nyerere National Park's striking feature, which provides an excellent natural setting for boat safaris, making it one of the few places in Africa where it's possible to view wildlife and bird life from the water.

You will be expecting to see wild animals like wild dogs, Sable antelopes, black rhinoceros, Nile crocodiles, hippos along the banks of the Rufiji River, Cape buffalo, hartebeest, and eland. Picnic lunches and drinks will be served in the wilderness before heading back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

06:00 Depart before breakfast and starts walking safari with an armed ranger with a walking guide for 2/3 hours, You will be led by a friendly guide who has extensive knowledge and experience of life in the bush. They will show you how to read the clues in the bush - a steaming pile of dug indicates an Elephant passed through not long ago. Walk in the huge wrinkled footprints for a while. Listen out for the chirps and trills of birds and the guide will help you identify them. Listen and you may hear alarm calls indicating the presence of a predator nearby. Feel the pace of your heart quicken as you slowly, quietly come quite close to a herd of Elephants under careful instruction from your guide. Back to the Camp for breakfast then later afternoon you will be transferred to Mtemere Airstrip for a fling back to Zanzibar, when you arrive in Zanzibar you will meet our driver and transfer you to your Hotel or assistance to connect your international flight.
